I am an Italian native speaker with over fifteen years of experience as an English to Italian and Italian to English translator.
My educational background includes a B.A. in Foreign Languages and Literatures from the renowned Istituto Universitario Orientale of Naples, Italy, for which I received a final grade of 110/110.
During my career I have covered a variety of positions as a translator as well as an editor on both sides of the Ocean, gaining high levels of expertise and acquiring a keen attention to detail, the ability to meet stringent deadlines and an extensive knowledge of my source and target language.
Having lived for extensive periods of time in both Italy and the U.S. (I currently reside in the Midwest), I also possess knowledge of those social and cultural peculiarities which characterize either Country and should always be taken in the highest consideration whenever approaching any translation project.
I specialize in the translation of certificates and genealogy related documents, instructional manuals, subtitles, correspondence, short stories and novels.
